Meta Weighs In On Rumors Mark Zuckerberg Resigning From His Post

Meta, the parent company of social media giant Facebook, has come out and officially denied all rumors and reports that CEO Mark Zuckerberg is resigning from the company next year.

Andy Stone, communications director for Meta, stated in a tweet that was a response to a story published by The Leak. The story cited an anonymous source in its reporting, which Meta is denying as the company faces big financial struggles thanks in part to the cataclysmic levels of inflation the country is facing.

    Here’s more from Newsmax:

Earlier this month, Zuckerberg announced to employees that the company, which owns Facebook and Instagram, would lay off more than 11,000 employees, reducing its size by about 13%. He also said there would be a cut in discretionary spending and an extension to the hiring freeze into the first quarter of next year.

Zuckerberg said he and others expected that increased revenue growth in e-commerce at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic would be permanent, pushing him to invest in Meta’s interests heavily. But with the economic downturn, increased competition and difficulties with online advertising, the company’s revenue sank much lower than anticipated.

The company has already spent $36 billion on its Reality Labs division since 2019, putting capital into what is believed to be an unprofitable sector of Meta. At a 2022 shareholders meeting, executives projected that the company would continue to operate at a loss for three or five more years.

What this reveals is that the poor economic policies of the current Biden administration are not only impacting every day Americans at the grocery store, but it’s also pummeling big companies and corporations. Everyone is feeling the hurt.

You would think that would make these companies and their CEOs want to try a different style of leadership and direction when it comes to politics, but they still support liberals, the very same people who are destroying their livelihood.
