Fetterman’s Wife Strikes Back At Critics Using Ridiculous, Tired Leftist Line

It seems that Gisele Barreto Fetterman, who seems to think the position occupied by Sen.-elect John Fetterman, her husband, is a joint venture, is none too happy with the criticism she’s receiving from the media and other folks who apparently aren’t members of her fan club.

She doesn’t actually have a fan club by the way. That was just a joke. Not sure how many people pick up on sarcasm online. Seems stuff like that often gets missed. I’m rambling now. Let’s get back to the story.

According to Newsmax, not long after Gisele posted a photo of herself at the door of her hubby’s office, in which she cropped out a big chunk of his head — not like that should really matter, seeing as how most of it is empty space anyway — both the media and critics alike have been shredding her for seemingly making the senator’s trip to Congress about her.

How did she respond? By employing the use of a tired Democratic Party talking point that lost steam a long, long time ago.

“The right-wing hates women,” she stated during an interview with The New Republic (TNR). “They especially hate strong women, and I think that’s what you’re seeing.”

“The fact that a spouse of a senator-elect has been attacked nonstop for the past 24 hours and everyone’s OK with it and everyone thinks it’s normal. It’s not normal,” she continued.

Many of Gisele’s critics have suggested that she’s trying to get in the spotlight herself, far more so than other spouses of elected officials in Congress, and the photograph with the top half of her husband’s head missing led to what she called a lively exchange and some hate mail.

“Since entering the Capitol for training, my inbox has been completely filled with threats and horrible things, and that’s because I’ve been a nonstop loop on Fox News,” the Brazilian-born wife of Fetterman stated during the chat with TNR. “Hopefully it’s not like this forever.”

“And hopefully it’s not like this for the next young Latina or person of color or spouse who enters this space,” she added.

Here’s a bit more from the report:

Gisele Barreto Fetterman says she jokes her husband is too tall for photos, but the photo had him cropped off the side, while she was shown in full on all sides.

She has taken credit for her husband being alive, too, saying she told him to go to the hospital when he was having a stroke that has left him partially impaired.

It’s all about her, isn’t it?

I almost feel sorry for this guy being married to a woman that needs this much attention. Notice I said “almost.” He’s still a raging liberal with horrific policies, so yeah, there isn’t a whole lot of sympathy to spare.
