Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is now attempting to have Antifa labeled a domestic terrorist organization after violent demonstrations erupted in Atlanta. Members of the group, which is leftist in nature, allegedly assaulted law enforcement officers and destroyed construction equipment at the site of what will be a public-safety training facility. Hey, do you remember back during the 2020 presidential election cycle when Joe Biden made the claim that Antifa wasn’t a group, but just an idea?
Well, ideas don’t commit violent acts, do they? But people, being organized into groups, most certainly do. Perhaps that means there is more to the whole “Antifa” business than the radical liberals want t0 acknowledge.
“Antifa are domestic terrorists and I’m introducing my resolution to officially declare them a terrorist organization on Tuesday,” the Republican congresswoman tweeted over the weekend. “Antifa attacked the Atlanta future Public Safety Training Facility. This is domestic terrorism. It was planned for weeks and announced on social media.”
“Antifa are self proclaimed communists and consistently organize to attack our government over and over again. They should be taken seriously and not tolerated anymore,” she continued.
The police department in Atlanta stated on Sunday that 35 people were taken into custody after anti-cop protesters “changed into black clothing and entered the construction area and began to throw large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers.”

Former President Donald Trump in 2020 called for Antifa to be designated as a terrorist organization after violent riots broke out across the U.S. following the Black Lives Matter-related unrest that summer.
“As required by the National Defense Authorization Act, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, in consultation with the director of National Intelligence, have developed standard definitions of terminology related to domestic terrorism and uniform methodologies for tracking domestic terrorism incidents,” the FBI goes on to say on the agency website.
It’s about time. Antifa has been causing trouble for a long, long time. They should have received this label many moons ago. Like during the 2020 riots that exploded as a result of the death of George Floyd. Antifa was heavily active in mass destruction and acts of violent crime when that took place.
And yet, we’re supposed to believe it’s the right that is full of crazies looking to overthrow the government. Unreal.
