Be Sure to Risk the Fall

    If you’re not a little scared of what’s next then you’re not playing in the big game. You’ve got to be a risk taker in order to succeed. Sometimes we take the leap, and we fall.

    Remember the words of Kipling:

    If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster – And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools

    Sometimes we feel like everything we’ve worked hard to build is falling apart. Or perhaps, we think our dreams will never happen. Remember that the thing you think you want the most may be a curse in the end. The failure and the fall may actually be a blessing. Let your vision take shape in its time. Great things grow slowly. Be deliberate. Be steadfast. Be risky. Be calculated. And when you fall pick yourself up in the face of your haters and rebuild.

    It’s okay to make mistakes. Just don’t make them twice. You know how I know? Lol. Oh I know!
